Bought with talico.com had high ratings but i prefer the taleo wines (lower rating) better. This is definitely clean with substance but doesn’t have much character. Like the girl in your highschool twenty years ago who was nice (and you still remember her) but boring. Wine on its own is fine but I had a dark chocolate afterwards and it lost out. — 8 years ago

A tad oxidative on the nose. Plums, dark berries, pipe tobacco, smoke, exotic spice, vanilla. Frame filled out nicely by grainy tannins. — 8 years ago
Beautiful rose, wish I had bought more than 2 bottles. Great rose, not too sweet, not too dry. Nice balance. Multi flavors and nice finish. — 9 years ago
Very nice Aglianico. Tannins are powdery and nicely integrated. Wine opens with air and is very pleasant after 1hour. Think this is 1-2years from hitting the sweet spot. Went perfectly with braised oxtail — 10 years ago

Oaky, big Aglianico. Very structured with lots of tannins. Something vegetal in the finish. Probably should have let it age a few more years but very enjoyable nonetheless. — 8 years ago

2007 Bottaccia Torre Quarto Uva di Troia (Puglia). alcohol on nose. Sour cherry. Vanilla. Cigar smoke. Black pepper. Old world flavors. Weighty wine. — 11 years ago
