Killer wine. Love the Portuguese wines Bodega produces. Smooth tannins with rich varietal expression. Dorothy (the owner/winemaer) has crafted this wine in true Portuguese style from Cali fruit. Big props. — 10 years ago

New world Tempranillo with texture, fruit, and spice as the stand out characteristics. Nose is just a bit muted with black fruit, white pepper, and wet black earth. Palate shows more red fruit notes along with baking spices and some plum. Medium everything except texture which is rich and mouthfilling. There's a slight mustard seed note on the medium + finish that is both very pleasant and very food-friendly. Amazing QPR on this wine. This is the 2008. — 11 years ago

Classic from Jolly Pumpkin, this is not as good as the Rozilla or La Roja du Kriek, but nevertheless is a terrific sour. — 10 years ago
