One of my favorite Cabs out there. This is still super young, but it was still a delicious. Sean Capiaux really delivers a lot of depth out of this mountain fruit without overloading it with tannin. Maybe the best deal on Cab in Napa. — 11 years ago
Another Great wine Sean. I do think I like Gary’s a little more it’s got a more coco flavor and nice and rich but this was very tasty. It’s always a pleasure to be drinking someone’s wine who you see the passion in each step. Love to see the hard work involved at OShaunessey. — 8 years ago
Napa Cab is not often what I reach for but this is wonderfully crafted by my friend Sean Capiaux and paired great with my ribeye! — 13 years ago
This is intense - black currant and dried black currant with stewed mint. — 9 years ago
Despite the consensus of critical acclaim (92WA, 92WS), I was skeptical going in to this. It didn't take long for that skepticism to evaporate. There's lots to like here. Richly styled with lip smacking spiced cherry, dry loam, vanilla, and a distinctively floral forest floor. Jeb Dunnuck says "At 30 bucks, I'm hard pressed to come up with a better value in Pinot Noir." I can think of a couple under $40 (Rivers-Marie and Capiaux), but this is definitely a strong effort. — 9 years ago

A whiff of grapefruit on the nose. Clear cherry fruit on the palate with a little sizzle. O.k — 8 years ago
