One of my favorite Cabs out there. This is still super young, but it was still a delicious. Sean Capiaux really delivers a lot of depth out of this mountain fruit without overloading it with tannin. Maybe the best deal on Cab in Napa.

Felt a little past it’s prime. It may have needed more of a decant. Somewhat spicy, lacked structure and the finish was lacking.

To finish my Howell mountain adventure, this beautiful bottle, now 2010 is a little young but I highly recommended. Heavy body, bright aromas, lively background, balanced in tannings and acidity, wild berries, scent of raisins, deep, and rich. Now it might be my personal opinion but I scent dark chocolate and very jammy. Please decant and wait until opens up since it makes a huge difference.
