Lovely wine purchased at Costco in Lihue. Enjoying it during Hawaiian sunsets! — 10 years ago
Pink orange color with appealing red fruit, and rose petal aromas. On the palate, it's medium bodied with a wonderful mouthwatering acidity and a nice grip courtesy of the Nebbiolo with tart strawberry and cherry flavors and a lingering finish. — 10 years ago
Enjoying this tonight celebrating 7 years of marriage with Candace and the man who introduced us, Tim Welsh. Just delicious. — 11 years ago
Vibrant. High toned fruit. Some earth and meatiness. One would think this is north Rhone all the way. Very pure. — 12 years ago
A wine that could not be in a better spot right now. Decanted at opening. Plush, soft aromas of black berries and plus just a touch of spice. On the palate this wine is juicy and soft, with velvety tannins and gorgeous acidity. Flavors of black plums and raspberries fill the glass around with wonderful spice box notes and just a kiss of oak. The finish seems to last forever with lingering spice and fruit notes. A truly wonderful wine. — 8 years ago

Chamomile, acacia honey, hazelnuts. Superbly concentrated, plenty of acidity, long. Lift & elegance. One of the best Stolpman Roussannes ever. @Peter Stolpman #ballardcanyon #roussanne — 9 years ago
This wine thinks it is a dairy product - much more oak than we usually like (but that is why we tried the "long aged" - to try something different). Beautifully executed. — 11 years ago

A savory juicy textured herbal food pairing champ. Like cooking sous-vide with an immersion circulator, what was once a geeky oddity has found a permanent home on our table. Not a universal solution, but really the right tool for the job in certain situations. Like pan seared halibut with fennel or spring vegetable risotto. — 8 years ago
