100% Graciano aka Muristellu aka Bovale Sardo. Immediately recognizable nose when opened with perfume of floral and cherry. On the palate it has nice fruit boysenberry, cranberry, and red cherry. Lively acidity, but still full bodied. Earthy & spice on the finish with a hint of vanilla. — 6 years ago
Such a soft opening with blackberry aromas and dark earthy chocolate notes. Delightful from start to finish. — 7 years ago
Woody over-notes with rich, dark fruits such as cherry, blackberry. Great legs! Long, firm finish. — 9 years ago

I'd drink this everyday! Stony, fruity, dark leather, mild oakiness. Love it. — 11 years ago
This is a new and interesting wine to me. Perdera translates to, “place of many stones”. The wine is composed of 90% Monica, 5% Carignano, 5% Bovale Sardo. Monica is an exclusively local grape of Sardinia. The wine is medium bodied. Notes of cherries and plums, followed by mild notes of peppercorn, anise and herbs. Fresh acidity along with mild tannin. Very enjoyable! — 5 years ago
Black plums, ripe blackberries, dried herbs, touch of oak and smoke. — 6 years ago
Out of the ordinary Vernaccia di Oristano. The nose is intriguing but it is in the mouth where this Wine gets extraordinary with an infinite persistency — 8 years ago
JL Sardinia tasting 1/17/17. 14.5% ABV. Very prominent nose of earth and leaves and dark fruits. Tannic and firm body with long finish and hints of menthol and dirt. $38. 55% Bovale Sardo. Will age. — 8 years ago
Spicy, medium tannins, raisins. Went really well with my pappardelle with pecorino and beef/tripe ragu. Cin Cin! — 10 years ago

Vintage 2013 / made from #cannonau #carignano #bovale #malvasianegro #sangiovese 18 months on new barrels. Very impressive wine. Super rich. Cedar. Roundness. Way too young but with lots and lots of potential. #sardegna — 6 years ago
Mmmm...terrific wine. Probably a little past peak, this Sardinian wine is a blend of bovale and cannonau with a little syrah, this has nice balance, a great earthiness but with enough fruit to keep it interesting. A taste of Italy in a glass! — 8 years ago
Now that's the local nectar!!!! Eating pork Milanese in Milan with a bottle of the owners wine from Sardegna. Mom is feeling those earthy notes of fresh grass and olive trees but I'll be honest after a bottle all I smell is GRAPE! (It's a good thing) — 10 years ago
Smooth, hint of fruit, slight pepper on the finish — 10 years ago

Really lovely fruit — peach, tangerine skin and cherries, and melon — with dried herbs on the finish. Really great with tikka masala.
