Fanrtastic evening with David who brought this 2009 Pommard as a gift. I tried to underline the taste with a "canard au confit d'onion". It was a right choice. Thanks David! What an amazing evening!! — 8 years ago

Congrats to owner and wine maker. This is far superior to many of the big names of Napa Valley. You can appreciate an elegant body like bordeaux but full of berries like Napa. A masterpiece and especially for the price. — 9 years ago
Lots of fruit and velvety power, I Iike it, partner of cassoulet au canard, Dutch bottling — 9 years ago

Made exclusively from the oldest Zin parcels in the vineyard. All the fruit in this wine is from vines dating back over 130 years. Cherry 🍒 cola, supple and silky. — 7 years ago
When you had a great wine you know it. It is when you wake up the next day and the one think on your mind is...That Wine! Chénas Quartz 2014 Cru Beaujolais from Domaine Piron-Lameloise is beautiful with its 'Teinte Grenat' colour. The nose is floral, Roses, with a touch of leather and also earthy and fruit forward of black Bing cherries. The depth of the wine is pleasantly surprising! It is better to decant it for 1hr and serving temperature should be around 17C. Stack on this wine for your cellar. It is a rare Gem! Wine pairing: For cheese lovers a nice blue cheese! Wine & Dine: Aiguillettes de canard accompanied with Cherry Chutney! One glass and you are Creating Moments! — 8 years ago
Had this 1996 baby to some foie gras de canard on toast and fig marmalade. Damn. — 8 years ago

— 11 years ago

Pale golden yellow color with plenty of active bubbles a very creamy mousse and with a red currant, baked cherry, raspberry and spice character. An elegant Champagne that had me thinking of pairing with mushroom, or seafood risotto. Me think good as an aperitif, but better with a variety of main courses! 70% PN/30% Meunier — 8 years ago
Very good Brut BdeB. Green apple, lemon, flowers, fine but strong bubbles and solid enough to go with food. Escalope de fois de canard, legumes d'ete au satay, Lieu jaune, chorizo iberique con case ecume de lait, a la nepita. — 9 years ago
Very nice Pinot noir champagne — 9 years ago
Second wine of the Château du Tertre in Margaux. Lip-smackingly fruity, almost violet in colour, it was a match made in heaven with our magret de canard at La Gare Gourmande in Labarde. — 10 years ago
avec de la rillette de canard! miam :) — 10 years ago

Ch La Vieille Cure Fronsac 2010 is drinking with such youth and concentration, it almost seems as young as it did 3 years ago. Could go for another 5 years at least.
