Really digging the scents of cherry, pie spice, and roses. Strangely similar to the potpourri pot on our powder room toilet, but that's where the similarities end and I'm truly enjoying this in a much different manner. Acids are in the forefront followed by some medium weight cherry/ripe strawberry pie spice. With time takes on enhanced complexities. Good stuff. — 9 years ago
So good! Had it while in Montana for the Campbell Tournament. Brad brought it up. — 9 years ago
One of my wines of the year. — 10 years ago
From a VIP tasting with Dane Campbell at Zaca Mesa, 5 vintages of Bkack Bear, this was my clear favorite out of a stellar field. Perhaps the greatest domestic Syrah I've ever tasted. Sublime, softened tannin, still vervet and full of life. Fruit, umami, earth for days. So damned good! Still 5 years in it. Eric and Clay killed this one!! — 10 years ago
Summer evening favorite! Adam Campbell knows his Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir!

Methinks there's more than a bit of Campbell in this Pinot. Nice. — 12 years ago

#idlehandsarethedevilstool @wondermentwines Beautiful wine! — 9 years ago
Quite green on the nose with spice and blackberry. Full bodied, if not slightly rearward with the kind of tannins that stick the inside of your lips to your teeth. Smokey oaky. 94/100 by Campbell Mattinson. If you've been disappointed by its predecessors, give this vintage a go. — 9 years ago

After seeing James Maynard Keenan's documentary "Blood Into Wine" it was time to try a couple of their vintages. Luckily the Campbell Liquor Store in St. Albert had a few bottles :) — 13 years ago

Great cherry/peppery nose, and a fairly well-rounded body, with smooth jammy-ness and a drier finish. Excellent value at $9.99 from the Trader Joe's in Campbell. — 9 years ago
