15% alc.
A non-vintage bottling from a Solera established in 1921.
Bottling date unknown but based on the overall look and condition of the bottle I would guess this is from late 70's/early 80's.

Wooow, where to start? The JJ Prüm 05's are one of the best they ever made. This one has a beautiful nose of botrytis, white chocolate, honey, pineapple. Like Fritz Haag, these wines have the intensity of beerenauslese without losing their freshness. What will it taste like in 100 years from now....105/100! — 10 years ago

Extremely dry finish, sophisticated break, deep rich start — 11 years ago
From the ‘King of Chenin’ Ken Forrester, this flagship wine is rich and complex. Bright yellow with gold edges and strong aromas of fruit and spice with underlying yeasty notes. On the palate peach, apricot and lemon with s touch of honey and sweet vanilla spice. The wine sits on oak so an added level of complexity is shown. Finish is fresh, crisp and lingers with great length. A tad pricey but true example of one of the finest Chenin's made. — 9 years ago
Hello my friends! Well it is time to review another sake! This is my favorite so far. It is Gekkeikan 's Black and Gold. This is an amazing cold filtered sake. The bouquet reminds me of wild flowers and honey. The initial palate is so smooth and buttery. It has to be ice cold to appreciate the butter cookie dipped in milk effect. The finish is dry with hints of chocolate raspberry tart. I give it my highest rating yet for sake! I need salmon sushi now and another sip! WOW! — 10 years ago
My favorite cider. A sweeter cider but well balanced and slightly spicy for an overall great flavor profile. Their Saskatoon cider is great if you are looking for something a little sweeter and more unusual. — 10 years ago

Beautiful yellow gold with pineapple, peach, mineraltiy, chalk, light honey bursting from the glass. Fruity with underlying nuttiness, butter, toast, granola. Smooth, round, and great med +acidity balanced out by a hint of RS. Med + acid, med + finish. LOVELY

From magnum. Our aperitif with the Cattier father and son team who make the wine for Jay Z in Chigny-les-Rose on the Mountain of Reims. The current 750's are based on 2012, but this is based on 2010 as they did not use 2011 for Armand de Brignac. Toasty, tasty, simple Champagne. — 10 years ago
Pale gold with an orchard fruit nose. Creamy mouth feel with a little citrus complexity on the finish. Liked very much particularly after it warned s little.

Pale gold color with tiny bubbles and apple, spiced ginger, peach, and pastry dough aromas. On the palate, it s light, refreshing and appealing with tart apple, peach, hint of pear, ginger flavors and some appealing minerality. It's young. My bet is that given time it will improve with age. — 11 years ago
Excellent mature Eden Valley riesling from the venerable S Smith & Son family company known in cuddly terms as Yalumba, based in Angaston for 165 years; pale gold wine; ultra dry; lime juice acidity; nose of burnt toast, brioche, leather, leatherwood honey. — 11 years ago
