Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

From the ‘King of Chenin’ Ken Forrester, this flagship wine is rich and complex. Bright yellow with gold edges and strong aromas of fruit and spice with underlying yeasty notes. On the palate peach, apricot and lemon with s touch of honey and sweet vanilla spice. The wine sits on oak so an added level of complexity is shown. Finish is fresh, crisp and lingers with great length. A tad pricey but true example of one of the finest Chenin's made.

Brightest and most brilliant golden yellow I’ve ever seen, almost fluorescent!
Very unctuous and oily, sexy, Rubenesque.
Dense apricot, peach and mango. Thick layer of honey, some minerals. Full bodied and sweetish at first, getting drier towards the very long, harmonious finish.
Impressive and delicious!

Dense, rich and impressive Chenin, off-dryish. Marvelous stuff.
Neal Martin's TN is spot on.

Excellent wine, so very different to the usual CB. It's like what Te Koko is to Cloudy Bay SB.
