Savory & spicy nose. Zesty. Apple spice . Mousse creamy . Chalky. Orange marlalade on finish. Super lively! Fruity finish. Green Apple. As it opens more orange blossoms. Opens to to aromas of a hot iron. My fav of the night( over Krug GC, which was lovely but more calculated and less wild/tension. Less precision . — 8 years ago
More attack than Puy, but calculated with complexity and a longer finish. Has the potential to age. Pretty solid now - would be great with food. Notes of tobacco and leather mixed in with black currant, slight raspberry, vanilla — 6 years ago
Yep, it's not only pretty, it's absolutely delicious. Subtle, calculated, balanced. It's both refreshing and complex. I'm throwing some into the pot with these moules and couldn't be more excited. Thanks @Sarah Catherine — 7 years ago
Bill Price's newest wine venture has his influence on the style and direction of the wines at Three Sticks. Well balanced and show-caseing the bright red fruit and charred/dry soil with distinct and calculated touch of toasted oak. — 10 years ago
Elisabetta Foradori is on a very short list of natural winemakers who have a history of what I’d call dedicated unrecklessness. It isn’t enough to make wine without anything added or taken away. The best natural winemakers make calculated decisions. And she does with her beloved Teraldego- what a grape!
It’s elegant like Pinot but meatier. Pillow plush. There are dark berries, nothing eccentric. Simply restrained, deliberate, conscious, winemaking. — 6 years ago
Really enjoying this wine. More bitter / tart fruit with nerve and precision than overt ripeness. Think quince, orange rind, and Buddha's hand instead of ripe apple or sweet pear. The wine's 13.5%abv from Wachau acts as the gatekeeper to the overarching bandwidth of mouthfeel and total structure. Sleek and calculated. — 8 years ago

Big beautiful sweet nose - jammy dry taste - earthy finish. A very well calculated risk! — 6 years ago
