This was sold as a pop and drink wine but that was not my case. First impression was off. Weak nose and slightly fruit forward dark cherries was my main thought. So punt away and drink another day. Well the wait was all this needed. The nose opened up and the cherries mellowed and other dark berries came out of hiding. Little bit of spice and maybe herbs finish this wine. Time makes the difference in this wine. Decent and enjoy. — 6 years ago

Medium to deep garnet red. A bit of Bret on the nose with musty notes, dirty cellar, and damp leaves. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Definitely tastes like a cooler and wet vintage.
