A new wine for us that we found on the list at Chamuyo in Cabo. This is a full bodied Malbec from Argentina that drinks a lot like a cab. Big, beautiful fruit, soft around the edges and a really nice finish. So good with the Argentinian food and meat of course! Fair value for sure at $93 on the list. — 10 years ago

1974 Heitz Martha's Vineyard. Drank at dinner in A&S's house w Iana and K. Very interesting to drink this wine as a comp to 1986 BV LaTour and compared to the magnum we drank in Cabo a few months ago. Much more vegetal than I remembered from the large format, but well balanced and enjoyable. We preferred this to the 1986 LaTour. — 10 years ago
