Beautiful wine. Just finished dinner, a great find at a local winery in Ventura. I have had the privilege to visit this town and enjoy some similar local vineyards. — 10 years ago
One of the best wines under $45 you can find. Incredible fruit and complexity. Rivals its flagship Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red at nearly 1/3 the price. Amazing wine. Cheers!! — 10 years ago
Dominated by a dark "inkiness" that seems like one flavor made up of many--blackberry, raspberry, scorched tar, soy sauce--and still plenty of tannins for texture. Looking for the classic "Pauillac-ian" graphite helps me find it--it's not nearly as present as I'd think--but this probably speaks more to how integrated this wine is because it still quite fresh and bright. — 10 years ago
Expensive? Overly so. Too large of production to consider this a rare find? For sure. Delicious? Hell yes! — 11 years ago
Love this. Would like to find it again! — 13 years ago
Couldn't find any ratings on the 2013, so rolled the dice here. Everything we wanted from a Pinot. Wonderful. — 10 years ago
Immediately in my top 5 beers. Concentration without weight or offensive intensity. So many tropical fruits, cannabis, and sage aromas bursting out of the glass! In the mouth it reminds me of all the great aspects of a Sierra Nevada pale ale turnt up. A new benchmark in balanced beer. Such a casual hurried situation to be drinking this, but nonetheless an encouragement to find more of this stuff. — 10 years ago
The duck Magret is in the stove! Not crazy with the noSe. The mouth is so so so great, a lot of blackberry! Can't wait to serve it blind! We ll see how many people will find a Sancerre ?? — 11 years ago

Pro tip: find a local and take them to lunch at the Aria w/ 1/2 off ALL wines under 500 clams. Boom. — 13 years ago
Biased because I adore Sonoma wines. Decanted for one hour+.This one seems to be in the French style. Dark cherries on the nose. Restrained dark fruits with very complex undertones. Each taster will find their own nuances. One drinker tasted licorice! I just tasted a smooth, dry finish. — 10 years ago
Excellent find from my friends at Artisan Wine Depot. A kinda Super Tuscan...adjacent. — 10 years ago
An outstanding California blend; rated way higher than its price. A great find.
