Buttery and oaky! Delicious — 9 years ago
Medium bodied. Not cirtus not really buttery. Just crisp and a bit acidic. Clean to have with food. A good palate cleanser. — 9 years ago
Though it didn't have the usual buttery oakiness I've come to expect from Mer Soleil Chardonnay, I was thrilled to taste such rich fruitiness. Silver comes bottled in a "cement" bottle to remind us that it was aged in small concrete tanks from France. This allows, like oak, a trace of oxygen to seep in which helps to enhance the flavor. Very bright fresh fruit characters. It was opened at our home in Bensalem during a romantic Valentine's Day dinner with 2 other couples. — 10 years ago
It's all things not too buttery or floral! — 11 years ago
Wow. Creamy but not buttery, with a nice note of sherry-esque nuttiness and a slow-burn finish. Oak is subtle and well integrated. Stock up. — 8 years ago
Oaky, buttery...everything you love in a California Chardonnay. This was the 2009 reserve. — 9 years ago
Buttery and nutty. A little too heavy for me but still a great Cali Chardonnay. Maybe opened this a little too early. Want to see how this will age in a few years. — 9 years ago
Light, smooth, buttery with a hint of citrus. Excellent find for $6.99 at Trader Joes. Perfect Chardonnay to keep stocked at home. — 9 years ago

Creamy and, well, buttery. One of my go-to chardonnays. And not too pricey. — 7 years ago
