Definitely more in a stereotypical CA style, but really well done for that style. Still balance to be found within the butter.

TEXSOM 2013 - Final tasting

Perhaps this vintage needs another year in the cellar? Citrusy, closer to Sauvignon Blanc, still pleasant, particularly in warm weather. Paired well with chicken.
