Yes please and well done. Truly lovely cool climate Syrah. — 8 years ago
Pretty full bodied Pinot, dark cherry, hibiscus, horse Saddle leather, still can taste the cowboys denim, probably Levi wranglers he was wearing. Tight tight behind. * unzips pants while thinking of cowboys.* — 9 years ago
Very deep purple color with ruby hues. On the nose: a bit of minerals, dark red fruit jam and pepper. Taste: medium tannins, a bit dry with hints of dried black cherries, plum and cracked black pepper. Good value. — 9 years ago
Nice full concert with the lighter instruments. Loved it because it takes you on a journey down the fields, across the river and through the woods. — 9 years ago
Ive had this wine experience several times now, and every time I think 98 pts. Tonight I stole the last half a glass from my lady. Yum! — 10 years ago

Светло-соломенное с зеленью. Очень свежее. Кислотность не чувствуется. Достаточно плотное, тельное, средняя маслянистость. Цитрусовые, цветы. Послевкусие пряное. Очень-очень круто! На каждый день, бюджетно. — 10 years ago
Nice wine. Probably not the 94 that it has received in the press — 10 years ago
This is a great wine that does not overwhelm the nose. Hints of currant, tobacco, and a savory musky fragrance that reminds you of a fall French morning at the border of the vineyard fields. Voluptuous and silky. Long beautiful legs on the glass. Elegant. Enough said. — 8 years ago
Now my go to wine of choice. Absolutely love it! — 9 years ago
Yummy yummy yummy! Could drink this as my daily red — 9 years ago
I wouldn't consider this to be a "big" wine., but nicely balanced. Bright and fruity, some oak flavors, vanilla, mocha, and some pyrazine bell pepper aromas. — 9 years ago
Bold fruity with hints of spice — 10 years ago
I was actually really surprised by this wine, as I am typically not a Shiraz fan. — 10 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
In 1953, Jean Baumard acquired vineyard in Quarts de Chaume, in 1968, purchased substantial acreage in Savennieres. Today Jean’s son, Florent, manages the winery. Aromas of green fruits, floral and flinty notes. On the palate green apple, pear, melon and slight nutty flavors, well balanced with acidity. Medium+ length ending, no fluttering with fresh juicy mineral, just like the butterfly on the label! Will age well if you can resist opening. — 6 years ago
