A nice simple Barolo not complex but not too fruity. A perfect pairing with a meal but not one I'd want to savor on its own. Could probably sit for a few years. — 9 years ago

Couldn’t be more classic. Fair warning though: Even after 17 years, could use more time. 6 hour decant and still a bit hot and tannic. Great with a rich lamb ragu though — 7 years ago

This is great. Intense fruit, dark and plummy with roses, violets, a hint of cola, blueberry. Great complexity and flavor and approachable for such a young riserva. — 6 years ago
