Really a Grand Vin de Bordeaux. You know that a flower was named after this wine? The Rose Demoiselles de Larrivet Haut Brion. How cool is that? — 7 years ago
This was a pretty bangin' in a Lopez de Heredia kind of way...salty, nutty, oyster shell, minerally citrus...it's so great to try old wines like this for the fun surprise but also the taste memory. #alwayslearning #expandthatpalate #lavillehautbrion #hautbrion — 9 years ago
Excellent wine! — 10 years ago
This wine is simple brilliant and ready to drink! The nose leads with hints of bright red fruits then quickly transitions to an earthy smell ripe with fresh rain. Tastes of subtle dark fruit, followed by mild tannins, with a lush mineral finish. We are pairing with mussels braised in a tomato confit, glazed pork belly, and classic steak and potatoes. This wine is certainly a top hit!!! — 11 years ago
2011 (why doesn't Delectable allow me to choose one somewhere?) Much more interesting than could be guessed from its modest price. — 12 years ago
Syrah, petite Syrah, & merlot blend; super good, very smooth, great flavor, all around nice red wine — 12 years ago
Surprisingly great blend for $30! Syrah, merlot and 70% cab. — 13 years ago
Dark colors mask magnificent brooding dark fruit and spice, mysterious leather notes adding to the intrique. — 2 years ago
Along with the beautiful package, One Finds a deliciously, crisp. super floral. pretty well balanced dry white wine. Most of our friends would find it “too austere with its racy acidity circling around the outskirts. I love this wine. #Hammered — 7 years ago
Clearly aged, but still had some fruit and exotic notes of a wonderful wine — 10 years ago
Very light, unoaked flavour — 11 years ago
2001 still very nice! Improves still with some air. Looong finish. — 11 years ago
Lovely Pinot Noir. Showing wild red cherry, Earl Grey tea, a little dried herbs, lavender and Rose. Light and intense. — 13 years ago
Smells tight right out of the bottle through an aerator (as you’d expect). Tastes very good! But, anonymous. It tastes like very good high quality wine. — 5 years ago
Ripe and supple berry pie. Dark dark spicy fruit in a velvety coat of midnight cacao, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. Big tannins that cling to palate all the way through the finish. Relax back in your recliner near the fireplace for this one! Perfect rainy day wine. — 6 years ago
Cami really likes this wine. Grape dvine — 7 years ago
Buttery, brooding. Green and lemon/lime. Needs another few years though. — 7 years ago

Low tannins and fully round with black licorice, cola and an amarone finish. — 11 years ago
A wine worth writing about. A hearty but delicate Pinot with dark rich berries. It's an underground all star. — 11 years ago
Perfect right now. Pencil lead ect. Nice bordeaux. Drink up — 11 years ago
Not Wise Acres. This is Wise Acre. Kirk Grace's tiny 1/2 acre project. 2010 — 12 years ago
An oldie but a goodie, great claret color, garnet with a touch of purple, a faint brick on the rim. The nose is haunting, with leather and old library page aromas, dried sweet tobacco, smoke, and roasted coffee beans. The palate is silky, expansive, with savory notes and lush and full textures. A long, elegant and broad finish. — 13 years ago
