Ripe sweet red fruit on the nose- beautifully aromatic and long lasting. Notes of red berries and vanilla. One of the best carb francs. I have had yet — 4 years ago
Beautiful bourbon, nice amount of oak, brown sugar, vanilla and easy to drink. — 5 years ago
I was at the winery many years ago the day that Sophia Coppola was up for her Oscar for Lost in Translation. I always thought of this as just a brand before that, but watching the tasting room volunteers beam with pride that day reminds me that the wine truly comes from the people that produce it. I know that sounds cheesy. I saw this in the liquor store for a decade before I bought it years ago. And now that many, many years have passed since those early wine years for me, I look at this wine fondly. Which is really what wine is all about. — 6 years ago
From vines planted in the mid 1800s. 5 days on skins, lightly orange colored. Ruby grapefruit. — 2 years ago
Light, tart, gorg color. — 4 years ago
On the nose, the forward aromas are sweet-honey and brown sugar. On the palate, the acidity balances it all off with ripe lime zest and granite/petrol. Its thinner and shorter than you’d want it to be, but it also has a visceral personality with an oily slipperiness that really rounds it back into solid form. — 4 years ago
V interesting. Tastes completely different than I expected from smell — 4 years ago

QPR killer. Saline cut with offdry fruit. — 5 years ago

Had with sugar fish via DomaineLA. Not too dry, slight effervescence. — 3 years ago
Finally opening this wine from Jennifer’s farewell luncheon and it is exquisite! Mike Trujillo’s winemaking prowess is on display and there is the perfect blend of strength and finesse with this wine. I love these wines and sad we don’t get to look forward to more vintages of her brand but glad that TRB has taken the reigns of what the vineyard has to offer. — 4 years ago
Very wonderful! — 4 years ago
At first taste it’s definitely a ripper; funky nose, tart, and plenty of citric. Settles into itself quite nicely, doesn’t get flabby. Gets a little acetic and fleshy as it opens up. Definitely one you’ll talk about. — 5 years ago
Just gets better. Light to medium. Some grit. Some sweet tart. Yum. — 6 years ago
