I'd drink that. — 10 years ago
Citrus and saline aromas, same on the palate with an additional fruit that I can't quite place. A little bit of body with bright lemon acid. — 9 months ago
I did not have high hopes for this one especially after paying $7.50. However, this is a well-structured wine! Very dark and really good. I wished I had bought more. — 2 years ago
Nose of lemon and some spice. This is discreet and fresh. The palate is very well designed with a strong acid drive, a good tension, a nice width and some weight on the sides,a good grip, almost a chalky mouthfeel. A very long finish with refreshing citrus note and the same spices. This is great! More of that! — 6 years ago

Very nice. Good acidity and tannins. Floral and olive on the nose? Great value for $18.99 — 10 years ago
Subtle citrus and more rich, almond (fino sherry) and yellow apple aromas, more body and softer acid still having some of the salty minerals. — 9 months ago

Clos Rougeard Le Bourg 2018 (Magnum)
Deep ruby in the glass. The bouquet is truly very fine: refined and elegant, with aromas of cassis, black cherry and plum, lifted by graphite, tobacco and a touch of violets.
On the palate, the first impression is the velvety texture. The tannins are ripe and finely grained, well integrated into a wine that balances power with elegance.
The fruit is pure and lively, supported by fresh acidity and a clear sense of minerality.
The finish is long and harmonious, with dark berries and subtle spice lingering. Already impressive today, with plenty of potential to evolve further.
For me the best Le Bourg in years! — 8 months ago
