Fantastic Tennessee whiskey. — 4 years ago
We are now in Matera... A special year for a special city. Besides being the European capital of culture 2019, it's the site of the opening scene of the new Bond movie. D.Craig picked the same spot for his accommodations. Anyways, I was ready for Aglianico....
With artisan pizzas all around, this 2010 paired wonderfully.
A big wine at 14.5 ABV, color is only starting to turn the rim, otherwise a deep dark ruby.
Earthy, black licorice, dusty, black olives on the nose, continuing to the palate. Tannins at are very firm and grippy. This thing could be cellared for several more years. I loved this wine.

Holy cr-p was this a bomb or what??? Brought by @Benoit Touquette it was amazing how just the nose and mouthfeel of this wine reminded me of one of the Bond wines, although I struggled to figure out which one. Someone suggested St Eden. Wish I had 10 more of these. — 7 years ago

Was fortunate enough to meet winemaker at Mustards Grill a month ago and she let me try this wine - same vintage I think. And now this has become one of my favorite wines under $60. If you can find it, buy it. Serve it to your friends who expect you to serve them Realm, Patria or Bond, etc. — 5 years ago
Great nightcap while watching an old Bond movie! Powerful and fruit forward showing some hints of earth and oak. It’s always a strong Tempranillo showcasing the depth of tinta de toro and heat of the region. Be patient and give it time and will become a beautiful wine. If you get impatient like i did let it breathe. — 7 years ago
Almost perfect. I had a German Riesling at a local restaurant last week that was better, but I did not record the name. Bond Wines North Carolina

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from a great vintage in Napa Valley.
Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.
Showing black fruits with chocolates, earth, cedar, spices, peppercorn, pencil lead, dark coffee, vanilla, licorice and light vegetables.
Dry on the palate with a long finish and fine grained tannins.
Good right out of the bottle, but really needs a few hours to open up properly and show the tannins, which we did not have this time, as it finished way too quickly.
This 8 year old is still young, and would age nicely in the next 15 years.
Showing great complexity with a smooth, soft and delicate mouthfeel. Rich yet elegant, with a spicy finish.
Grapes come from the younger vines of BOND, Harlan Estate and Promontory.
I paired it with a nice piece of steak and baked potatoe.
