At emporium w/chef’s board & Brit! — 8 years ago
As a “once was” Brit, I observed (not celebrated) July 4th. The number of peeps who wished me a happy 4th!!! If only they could make the historical connection, I could be left in peace, on what is a somber day for the vanquished. 🇺🇸🏴
Sermon over - Stunning wine, as is every vintage from Scarlett. — 8 years ago
Yeah, that good-taut, multilayered, depth of flavor forever; toasted walnuts & hazelnuts but sprung from a base of complex tertiary flavors: as Im a half brit, echoes & memories of Branston pickle, marmite, yet all still light bodied, fresh & back again to that tautness. Maybe could critique as running a bit hot. From soleras of 50yro+ wine; only 500 bottles produced. If Proust had written about sherry, it would have been this sherry. Just marvelous. — 9 years ago
Family dinner w Brit and mike. Loved this bubbly from mike. — 9 years ago
As a Brit, fish, chips and mushy peas is my signature dish .Yes, the mushy came from a can, which is the primary source. We started with a rosé, but we are now on Switchback, which is opulent and correct. — 5 years ago

These Brit bubs aren’t bad! Interesting to taste one with some age on it. The acid was nicely integrated. Rich and creamy. Easily mistaken for the real thing. — 7 years ago

Brit loves this wine and Pete likes it. It's heavy, dark and intense. We can taste the notes of cherry. — 9 years ago
The cork says it all:
"Wish not so much to live long as to live well." - Benjamin Franklin.
And how fitting on this 4th of July!
One of my favorite Sauvignon Blancs - crisp and tart, with a soft texture, tropical fruits galore and mouth puckering acidity. Delicious.
Happy Independence Day all (or as my Brit friend likes to say to me, "Happy Treason Day, you ungrateful colonial!"). — 9 years ago

Dry nose as well as a typical dry/Brit taste. Very good but does have a bit of an aftertaste that can’t place- maybe some chalk or yeast? At Parcelle Wine School Feb 11, 2020 — 6 years ago

Splendid. Just opened after shipping. Bright red fruit. Understated as other tasters have noted. Look forward to next bottle in a few months — 8 years ago

Classic London Dry Gin made in Edinburgh, Scotland. Far from ordinary this gin very balanced and pack with 14 botanicals. Hints of Pine Nuts, Lemongrass and a Lavender finish. Kick back with your favorite G&T mix, act like a Brit, enjoy and have another.....Excellent. — 5 years ago
