A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 23 months in French oak, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark ripe fruit with sweet herbs, floral and complex spices. On the palate flavors of ripe blackberry and currants, cinnamon spice, sweet oak and cacao. Well integrated with fine soft tannins, the wine is complex yet enjoyable and will continue to age. A blend of 75% Semillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc, & 2% Muscadelle. Golden with complex aromas, somewhat Riesling like, and adding a tropical bouquet. On the palate this botrytis rich wine shows apple, pineapple and honeysuckle flavors. Lingering finish ending with smoky vanilla notes. Had this at tasting and bought a few bottles! Nose is heavy wet nail polish, vanilla bean, and wet grass. Incredibly complex and long lasting on the palate. Nail polish and cinnamon up front, then a wave a spicy burn, then grass, vanilla , menthol, new brown leather jacket. Best bourbon ever, better than the 23 yr by a wide margin. — 10 years ago

Although this is not a genshu, it's 17% abv which suggests it does not get watered down as much as most sake at this price.
