Pali Cortado, around 80 yrs old from solera that used to belong to Gasper Florido. Single Cask, bottle December 2013. The aroma on this was incredible. The taste was the opposite from the nose. Smoke/burnt note with notable presence of walnuts. Preferred this over the 49. Great bottle to try. First time experiencing old sherry. — 8 years ago

Tasted at the winery with winemaker César Deriaux, the 2018 L‘Étoile Savagnin is delicious. It has aged for 3 years under a veil of flor in a dedicated part of their cellar which is a bit warmer and drier than the rest. It wafts from the glass with a wide array of nutty aromas, bread dough, bruised apple, dried ginger and a pinch of curry. The powerful mouthfeel is driven by excellent flavor concentration and balanced by lively acids. A lingering saltiness marks the complex finish and calls for a refill. — 2 years ago

80yr Amontillado purchased from Pedro Romero purchased from Gasper Florido. Reminded me a little bit of scotch with the peaty, smoke notes, except this has acidity. Walnut note was similar to the 47 though less present. Preferred nose of the 47 to 49. A great experience trying an old sherry. — 8 years ago
Une très belle robe, saumonnée et bien claire. Au nez, du litchi et des agrumes. En bouche, une bonne vivacité suivie d'une belle rondeur. Un très bon équilibre et des arômes de pêche et de mangue. Un excellent rosé Corse ! — 9 years ago

The alc is19° and it’s so mouth filling and enveloping. Amazing.

Unfiltered, semi-sparkling orange wine. More earthiness than the anticipated skin contact characteristics. Fun, quirky wine. Went really well with César gambas and salmon montaditos. — 9 years ago

Alcoholic fermentation with native yeast and malolactic fermentation and aging in French oak barrels for 15 months. Ripe red and black fruit, toasted, spices, mineral, tasty, elegant, long, balanced, fine and persistent.
