Really nice wine
— 5 years ago
Serious and solid barrel Chardonnay. Aroma: ripe apples, vanilla, butter, toast, hay, lightly citrus. Long aftertaste: oak and smoky notes. Soft oak tannins are present.
Very nice. — 5 years ago
Just beautiful, needs a decant to develop fully but worth it. Silky smooth — 6 years ago
Rhonda likes. Buy a bottle, but probably not a case. — 7 years ago
Drank at Marqués de Riscal hotel during ‘Riscal menu dinner’ on 30th July 2016.
Ruby, violet border. Ash, berries on the nose. Fruity, cherry on the mouth. Quite nice wine. — 8 years ago
Big juice, spicy, some acidity, lacking balance but great value for $9. Would buy again. — 8 years ago
My second time tasting this wine. Wow was it showing well with living red fruit. The fruit was complex, rich, and wise. The complexity and length were incredibly long. This was as smooth as it gets. Even the core was still slightly red. #marquésderiscal #rioja #1911 #spain #ctbucklinwine — 10 years ago

Worried this was corked but it's blown off. Amazingly youthful for a near 100 year old wine- probably reconditioned. Resolved dark wood and sour cherry. Very pretty and persistent. Hours later this has exploded. Soft and gorgeous. No issues. Pure joy. — 9 years ago
2013, this is nice. Lots of smells and a good finish. — 10 years ago
Buen olor, trago agradable y afrutado, pero le falta retro gusto y cuerpo . — 12 years ago
I’ve been on a QPR kick lately with this $11 Costco #valledeuco #malbec. Expected bramble fruit, leather notes on the nose but the fresh acidity, balance and restraint on the palate are much appreciated. — 5 years ago
Yellow apple, grapefruit, lemon, minerally, saline. Beachy mediterranean vibes. Delicious! — 5 years ago
Cranberry and earthy notes on the nose. Leads with some light berry notes and some funk. White pepper and light minerality on the finish. Delicious — 7 years ago
Smoked eucalyptus and gamey.
Blackberry, dark plum, tha basil, eucalyptus. mint, anise, layer upon layers of gorgeous fruit, with herbs dancing with great pagan mystery, underneath those waves.
This is one of those wines that hits every bit of what you want a more expensive bottle to be.
Priced to buy by the case as a every nighter.

Sipping Fine Wine
Deep Ruby color with aromas of fruit and spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry, plum and blackberry with notes of vanilla and pepper spice. Fine tannins, medium finish, good acidity ending with fruit and spice. Drink now. Good value! — 3 years ago
