Extraordinary Riesling. Expressive nose of white flowers and honey and dried apples and old river rocks sticky with honey. The palate is bone dry, like an old conch shell full of grilled herbs. Nervy and chalky and electric and delicious. Made for a pour pairing with a spicy vodka sauce due to the intense, martini-like dryness. — 4 years ago
Nice FLX Riesling with a bit of funk. Peaches and pears, with some skin contact adding body. A bit of oxidation lends a sherry-like character to it. — 5 years ago

Tart, dank, and mouthwatering. Smells like fruit loop dispensary kush. Zippy petrol notes and hazy golden straw in the glass. Dream mashup for Riesling + natty wine lovers! — 5 years ago
Drank with Kody at Little Club. Pretty sure it was this one. Could have bloomer creek? First cab franc that I’ve tried that I love. Herbaceous but a lot of violet. The florals overpower the bell pepper. Light bodied but purple crispy in color. — 6 years ago
really nice orange wine from finger lakes. Honeysuckle, tropical fruit 🥭, really nice finish a little more savory, maybe coriander? — 4 years ago
This one is their Merlot-Gamay version. So juicy! Idk if you’d call the vin d’ete wines a line (perhaps if they make a 3rd?), but thus far the 2 I’ve tried have been delicious. Crunchy fruits, bright acidity, and wet earth. This one has a touch of cocoa too. — 4 years ago
Apple cider, mulling spices, cinnamon top note, yellow raisins baking on a pizza.
Fine, fine bubbles. Beads of freshness bursting with vivacity and life. Strong apricot and mango. Fruit forward, but also herbaceous on the mid palate. A bit of thyme, a bit of sage. Slight grapefruit astringent note right at the end.
Just enough to round out a full complexity of flavors. Super refreshing. Chill to the max and enjoy with an array of cheeses, on a lawn chair, with Indian food, or like me, post vegan Mexican from Jajaja watching a movie about extraterrestrial life. What can I say? I’m a nerd in more than a few ways.
Another winner from Bloomer Creek. The Guwerz comes first, then this, then the 100% Riesling. — 5 years ago
No surprise to see a Herman Story review from me but this Grenache was real nice. It had a very rich mouthfeel and coated your entire mouth in a satisfying blanket of goodness. The flavors waited a minute and came rushing in. It was a bit of a strip tease frankly. This is a richer and more fulsome Grenache with complex stories to tell. Very much enjoyed this! — 5 years ago
Very light. Astonishing for an American wine — 5 years ago
Drinking tremendously now, an early bloomer expressing the fruit and mineral of where it comes from. — 5 years ago
Electric Kool-Aid acid test. Crunk, but not dank, with the light kombucha notes adding savor and depth. A real freak show in a glass. Serious fun. Note: the 2016 version I tasted is Gewurz. — 6 years ago
Honey, oranges, mangoes, peaches. All the tropicals.
Ah man, Bloomer Creek just makes me happy. Every time I see their bottles at a retailer, I pretty much have to cop it. Today it was from Frankly Wines in TriBeCa.
Great selection and knowledge at this shop.
A little character in this one, reminding me a bit of an orange wine. Dry and got a nice minerality, but also a honeycomb sweetness and finally a bit of a zing (kind of like the herby citrusy crossover that pine needles have). I went on a guided hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Biologist guide pointed out all the things we could eat in the forest. And we did. No one got sick. My dad told long, unnecessary stories to the other troop members. Ah, simpler times.
This is a glass where you close your eyes, everything else melts away, and you enjoy the simplicity, the balance, the crisp sips. — 4 years ago
Great Bordeaux blend. Jammy fruit with herbaceous notes and plenty of dusty tannins. Definitely a late bloomer and coming into its own right now.

Didn’t love quite as much as the other Bloomer Creek but still delish. Funky. A little flat on the finish. — 5 years ago
I made shrimp risotto. this has been in my regular rotation. — 5 years ago
No words. Natty crunk meets ‘60s right bank Bordeaux. Luncheon claret...as you might have been served by Warhol or Timothy Leary. The Merlot seems a bit riper and more assertive in this vintage, but the CF wrapper leaf and cranberry pop comes in on the surprisingly suave and sneaky-tannic finish. There are no better wines being made in America if you love things that have one foot firmly rooted in the classics and the other with the itch for the new. Superlative and timeless. — 5 years ago
