As expected from this region ripe red & black fruits with plenty of secondary and tertiary notes. Picked up vanilla, mushroom, tobacco, earth, wet leaves and black pepper. Slightly astringent tannins. Could do with a little more aging. — 5 years ago

A little sweeter than I normally like, but not too sweet. Blend of Semillon, Muscadelle and sauvignon blanc grapes. Stone fruit and honey. Almost reminds me of a less sweet, lighter and more refreshing version of Sauternes. Paired okay with the mildly spicy panang curry I had for dinner.
