The best $16 wine on the planet?? Ok, maybe a tad extreme, and I'm biased because this is our current best seller. But it's the most drinkable sub-$20 red wine I've had in a LONG time. Wine Advocate gave this 2013 90+ points. This winery is owned by the guys behind Blackbird Vineyards in Napa. Shameless plug - you can buy an entire case from us for $192 including shipping! — 8 years ago
Cooper and I enjoyed this wine at Blackbird in Manzanita, OR. We had a fabulous dinner including flat iron steak, and this Tempranillo was a perfect compliment. Cherry, leather, tobacco, slightly sweet but not overdone, and very smooth. Cooper LOVED this one! — 9 years ago

2007 Pott St Ralph the Liar and Blackbird Illustration - both very good. Paired with boar osso bucco at hurley's. — 12 years ago
Solid wine. Drinking well now. Pott makes great wines, and this comes in at a nice discount from even the lowest priced blackbird. — 8 years ago
Blackbird Red Table Wine, not Pinto Noir — 8 years ago
We are out at Blackbird in Chicago and thought this would match with both Duck and Rabbit. So far so good. Notes: colour is a deep purple, nose has blackberries, cassis and hints of jam. The mouth is complex, tannins are strong but balance the heavy fruits to leave a wonderful finish. Should sit for quite a while, we are drinking it very young. — 9 years ago

Very tasty 07 Spring Mountain Cabernet. Aaron Potts own label, you may also know some of his other consulting projects like Quintessa, Blackbird, Bello. This is dense and concentrated, loaded with dark fruits, spices, coffee and chocolate. Rich and Voluptuous all the way through. — 10 years ago
Dark maroon with just a hint of brick on the periphery. Fig with an overpowering nose of black cherry, fig, menthol, tobacco, and licorice. Soft velvety tannins and full bodied. Red currant and coffee. Balanced yet not overly complex, with a strong finish. Remarkable for table wine. A north coast of note. 91. — 11 years ago

Loved this. Tasted at Blackbird with a fluke and smoked scallop starter. Reminded me of Martini Bianco. — 8 years ago
