As usual well a balanced and mouth-coating Ridge. Violet, red berry, and minty nose. Palate notes of blue/red fruits, spice, and Corinthian leather. Always consistent, and one of my all time favorite wineries.

A big vintage. Less American oak than I remember in the past. First one I've seen in a while that wasn't de-acidulated. Gotta love the honest ingredient labeling.

So unmistakable! One of the easier blinds in a while. It screams of California, and more specifically California translated beautifully by Paul draper. So consistently delicious.
