Magnum. Single vineyard from the Bussia Cru of Monforte d’Alba.
This is so much different than the Brandini single vineyard from La Morra. Much more powerful with still firm tannic structure. Shows more dark fruits, with fig jam, leather, cedar and licorice.

Clear, pale ruby to garnet in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cherries, raspberries, leather, and hibiscus; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of red currants, clay pots, asphalt, and cranberries with a really long finish. Overall, this wine is balanced, intense, and complex. I taste this wine as outstanding. Nellie likes it, too. It paired really well with steak. — 17 days ago
