This was terrific. 16 years in. Softening. Still holding onto those leathery notes. Good stuff. — 4 years ago
Surprisingly complex and nuanced. There is an undeniable floral component to this wine that is quite atypical for Zinfandel. Mineral-laced, spicy, elegant and simply delicious. Aside from a hint of blueberry jam this is in no way your typical Dry Creek Zinfandel. Weight and texture are beautiful. Loving the lavender and violets. Easily the best wine I’ve had from Maple Vineyard. This is Zin! — 7 years ago

Excellent. Big wine, balanced and flavorful — 4 years ago
Crisp nose of unripe pear, honey and lime on the nose. Baked honey crisp apple, white flower, slight petrol on the palate. Lovely minerality and sense of terroir in this wine. — 5 years ago

If one likes a toasted oak Chardonnay, this is your wine. Long lingering taste of oak, with stone fruits. Paired well with fish and chicken. Drank in August 2021. — 9 months ago

Huge nose of menthol, cedar, white pepper, clove, and spiced red and black fruit. On the palate plumb, cinnamon, dark cherry, oak, and hints of pencil lead. High alcohol, high acid, medium plus tannin, medium plus body, with long finish. — 9 months ago
