Didn't know this single vineyard wine from Kuleto existed. Even as a 2010, this needs a longer decant than the 30mins we gave it. Very dark purple in the glass. Gripping tannins up front, but they disappear before getting too harsh. Lots of red and black fruit, so this was a bit tart on the finish with black pepper as well. The fruit in this was extremely aromatic and tasted very fresh. If we had waited another hour, this would have hit all cylinders.
