Belgian knockout drops. #achouffe #tripel #doubleipa — 7 years ago
Hipping is exotically fruity, with some leesy reduction at this juncture; Pettenthal is the oddball, aged in barrique to draw out citrus fruit and roundness from a tight, mineral wine; Orbel is the complete package, a tannic and racy white showing equal parts fruit, floral, and Roterhang minerality. An interesting common thread through these wines is a distinctive herbal/spice character, which reminded me of a funky Belgian witbier or tripel, presumably attributable to ambient yeast populations and soil expression. — 7 years ago

Simply delicious. Great balance of sourness and tart raspberry. — 8 years ago
Profoundly aromatic and seriously delicious. Cool name too. The orange and spice notes are super cool in this beer. WF. — 8 years ago
Grippy Belgian candy sugars, loads of tannin, mellow sweet balance with nice layers, golden raisin, too much tannin and wood, bourbon, the smell takes in alc, actually goes from 9.0 to 9.3, the tannins blend in once it opens even more and has cinnamon, very clean but boring oddly in some ways — 7 years ago
Magnum 2010. Great wine from these Belgian owners! — 7 years ago
Haven't had a chance to try this beer. But, come on, it's about the funniest beer name ever. — 7 years ago
Great Belgian Tripel — 8 years ago
Good in that you can clearly taste the Belgian yeast and very appropriate in style- banana, Clove, and green cardamom. Tastes hot, but not 10% alc hot. Not original or different, but enjoyable — 8 years ago
Pear and clove. Good domestic version — 8 years ago
Great start to the #f1 season with a beer a good friend brought to the house. Delicious and refreshing. 🍻🍻🍻 — 8 years ago
Fantastic flavoured Belgian beer. Sweet with vanilla taste. — 7 years ago
Delicious! Floral, lilacs, some pronounced white pepper that is almost reminiscent of northern Rhone, vibrant acidity and zippy quality. Finish is like dragon fruit or a Belgian tripel. 7 years old and better than ever. — 7 years ago
Maybe my new favorite Gluten free beer. Delicious — 7 years ago
Crisp, clean for a Belgian style triple , but not hot at 8.5%. Brewed in Chicago, drinking this to root on the Cubs!!! — 8 years ago
