Gift from someone dear in my family, flown in from Belgium. Prodigious head on pour, light amber, slightly cloudy. Scary name, come to think of it... Fruity nose with piney hops undercurrent. Smooth mouthfeel with dense foamy texture throughout. A Platonic ideal of a beer, basically. Lots of lively aspects to it: texture, malty and hoppy flavors, slight bitterness in finish. Not a high IBU bomb but a fine quaff to savor

After three bottles of vino and some Delirium Tremens ($8 in Spain) we are drunk enough to eat!

One of my top 5 beers of all-time! Extremely complex with a soft touch. Wicked flavors of light fruit with a slight orange citrus finish. A MUST try for all beer drinkers!
