Acidity smoothed out with breathing. Strong plum. Made in steel instead of oak. — 6 years ago
Nose has smokey dry earth, dry lavender, old licorice, dried black cherry, ripe black currant, dried blackberry and (light) dried oak.
Palate has silky dried blackberry, ripe plum, black currant jam, (light) dark chocolate, dried blueberry and light tannins. Mouth coating texture. Future bottles should be 2023+
50% Grenache & 50% Mourvédre
Paired with a bottom round beef roast, slow cooked 8+ hours with autumn root vegetables and the au jus from the roast, thickened with a little of my own tomato paste, delicious. — 6 years ago

Some licorice on the nose. Ripe, rich flavors. Very tasty. — 9 years ago
Surprisingly dry. Sweetness comes through with more aeration and multiple glasses ;-) — 5 years ago
Initially short but after breathing was really full. Dry. Mild oak. Great at $5/bottle . included in Laitheaite’s initial offer. Let it breathe before drinking! — 5 years ago

Lovely older Bandol, tree bark, redfruits, still some solid structure in this one, long, lingering finish. — 6 years ago
Dry Medium bodied with fresh strawberry and plenty of tannins. Good QPR Rosenthal. Will only get better. — 7 years ago
Nice nose with dark red with slight red as it is not nearly browning of the edges, medium to full body with some complexity and a fairly short aftertaste. I give it. 90. I noticed that Vivino says it is carignon, Grenache & Mourvèdre, which makes sense, as it is not nearly as full or as complex as the 1992 Horton Mourvèdre 89%/Syrah, which was surprising. — 8 years ago
Woah... bold, full flavored... keeps getting richer... very nice — 9 years ago

From just opening, we can enjoy this fruity wine with raspberry, cherry. Enough acidity. Cherry, Licorice. A bit spicy. Rounded. Easy to drink. 2018 @580, Kping -, 211118-211122 — 4 years ago
