One of the best fruit forward budget wines — 10 years ago
Tiene un color tinto marrón precioso. En nariz se nota la madera pero esta bien camuflado con la fruta. Es un vino fuerte, de grandes sabores al principio y explosión amarga que dura poquito. — 11 years ago
Medium bodied and very fruity. Hits the spot — 8 years ago
Excellent QPR. Medium/heavy Tempranillo. Lots of pepper on the palate. The noise has classic Rioja notes of vanilla and and subtle black fruit and ripe cherry. — 9 years ago

The '11 Bodegas Barco de Piedra Tempranillo is proof that good wine doesn't have to be expensive. Bluish purple in color, this medium-bodied wine emits a bouquet of black fruits, cherries, licorice, pepper and leather. It's delightfully creamy, velvety and complex. Very impressive for the money. — 12 years ago
