A bright ruby-colored Tempranillo, the '11 Bodegas Barco de Piedra Ribera del Duero laces the nose with floral scents of dark sweet fruits, anise and leather. Medium-bodied, but still robust and powerful. Finishes sappy and long with silky tannins. Another tremendous value.

The '11 Bodegas Barco de Piedra Tempranillo is proof that good wine doesn't have to be expensive. Bluish purple in color, this medium-bodied wine emits a bouquet of black fruits, cherries, licorice, pepper and leather. It's delightfully creamy, velvety and complex. Very impressive for the money.
