Drank in Rome in CiPasso. Beautifully balanced and paired with pasta! — a month ago
Very nice as noted previously, it’s got that Nebbiolo weight that floats. — 4 months ago
Easy drinking, well balanced, not very complex but versatile and enjoyable. Could develop over a 2-3 years. — 4 months ago

Had this wine at Westgate in Beaverton, Oregon — a month ago
Ruby/ brick in color with medium intensity.
Beautiful nose with blue and red fruits, caramel, light oak, cooked cherries, red currants and tobacco leaf.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, raspberries, spices, light oak, earth, chocolates, tobacco, espresso and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 10 year old Barolo is still fresh and vibrant. Delicious and easy drinking with a great mouthfeel. Complex and well balanced. Tangy and interesting.
Already drinking beautifully, and will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years and beyond.
Gorgeous, elegant and robust. A great sipping wine to share with friends and talk about.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for 6 years.
14% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

Tasted blind . Medium garnet , more terracotta rim . More closed on the nose , some sweet cherry and cedar , orange rind and touch of anise . This is again quite fresh on the palate , some cherry and cedar , cut herbs , anise . Pretty grippy tannins . Reasonable length with good strawberry , raspberry , liquorice tinged finish . Needs a little more time , better in a couple of years and will last well a further 5-10. — 8 months ago
1982 Bruno Giacosa Serralunga d'Alba Riserva Barolo. Second red at post-museum lunch at Il P. Drank this alongside the '82 Giacosa Brunello. This was much more well rounded with a longer finish. More favored of the two wines hands down — 10 years ago
Honestly, I forgot I had this and was worried I was 10 years too late with it. But I tell you what… there is life left in this bottle! Dark fruit, mostly gone but still there. Chocolate and leather too. Then come raisins. Bone dry, smooth but not silky, still some black tea tannins and big structure. Yes, it’s past prime (at 28 years old, I was out of my prime too!) but wisdom replaces energy. — a month ago
Good but surprisingly not great. — 2 months ago
Clear, pale ruby in color. On the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of cherry, raspberry, and smoke. On the palate, it's dry with high acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of tart cherry, hibiscus, and wet slate with a medium finish. This wine is intense, complex, and with enough fruit to balance the acidity. Overall, I would rate this wine as very good. — 3 months ago

Wonderful old world aged wine. This wine had a fruit forward taste with deep hints of cherry and strong floral notes. Once it opened up in the glass, the leather and spice came out. What a privilege to experience this wine — a month ago
