From Maresh vineyard planted over 45 years ago. Ruby with berry fruit and sweet nutty spice aromas. On the palate ripe strawberry and cherry fruit flavors with tea and licorice notes, lively acidity adding herb spices. Long finish, dry tannins that need some time, ending with bright mineral tones. Nice, but put this one in the cellar for a few years. Small production. BIGGEST FLAW: CORK IS EXPOSED AND NOT PROTECTED. Tasting Sample. β 6 years ago

Light and earthy, superb after breathing. I paired it with good conversation and that made it delicious. β 7 years ago

A hell of a wine. Amazingly deep jewel tone for how clear it is. The flavor has cranberries, rosehips, and bitter orange and a slight lemon finish, giving it an almost Campari-like quality in wine form. Beauty and substance. β 8 years ago

Dark cherry and a dash of herbs, with a savory middle and finish, excellent concentration, and terrific with a duck breast with a beet sauce. β 7 years ago
Beautiful medium garnet, smooth, balanced. Elegant with backbone. Long finish. Pretty wine in a nice place. β 8 years ago
