Cherry, mint, oak and vanilla bouquet combine with cherry, caramel & clove on the palate. Smooth tannins. — 7 years ago
Had this on my anniversary. My mom purchased it for us. I am a huge Pinot snob and this fit rite in. I wish it could have been cellared longer but it was picked to be drank. Clean smooth palate. Ripe berries and plum. Loved it. — 7 years ago

Very nice Bordeaux style varietal that's easy, aromatic and a finish of blue berries and plums. Great with dinner or after dinner. Or...both! — 8 years ago
Lovely aroma immediately upon decanting. Deep garnet color. Soft palette with medium for tannins. Fruit forward, but not overly powerful. Nice finish of concentrated dark chocolate. — 5 years ago
This rare bottling showed its distinction and class right away. Just outside RRV AVA while being historic and special terroir on old vines which gives depth, herbaceous and even mineral qualities to well concentrated red Pinot fruit with crazy silky finish that doesn’t sacrifice body. — 7 years ago

Consumed 12/2017. Full rich flavors of berry, Cassis and black cherry with hints of vanilla in the background. Aging with French oak adds complexity and depth, resulting in a high-quality Cabernet with great value. For me, this wine has to breath for a couple of hours before I like it. — 7 years ago

Elk chops' delicious friend. Very happy. — 8 years ago
This is nothing short of delicious. Rich and succulent noses of roasted pineapple, fennel, quince and the full tropical 🌴 fruit line up. On the sip it has that silky kinda oily texture. Dried apricot, peach, creamed plantain excite the entire palate. Bitter orange and bitters round out the smoked finish. Beautiful job Jeff Cohn and Yves Gangloff — 8 years ago

Dark ruby red in the glass. Very aromatic with black cherry, crème de cassis, licorice, vanilla extract, and hints of graphite. Dense, concentrated fruit on the palate with a bit of the Rutherford dust on the back end. A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot, this is the second wine produced from the J.J. Cohn estate after Scarecrow. Although still in its infancy, it was a pleasure with Wagyu Steak Frites. 14.9% alcohol. $190. — 7 years ago

Probably one of the best Cabernet Sauvignon I’ve ever had. Nose full of plum and jammy berries. Taste is so smooth and refreshing. Wow! — 5 years ago
