First enoteca in Rome. Great Rosso blend. Sweet licorice smell. Candied dried berries. Slightly jammy. Medium tannins. I’m happy — 9 years ago
A specialty dessert wine from the area in Italy where my grandparents were born. It's a mixture of reduced fermented sour cherry fruit and local Lacrima wine. Nose is sweet and yeasty and mossy. In the mouth, it's got vibrant, zingy and ripe cherry syrup fruit with a cheese rind element and full body. The acidity carries the unique sweetness. — 9 years ago

Family party, so truncated notes. This is very unique. Nose has bright sugar plums (yes), and a resinous warm caramel note. Rich, sweet, but balanced with nice acids, it finishes long and pure. Truly a dessert in a glass. A big thank you to my brother for toting this back direct from Le Marche! — 8 years ago
