Great nose. Tightly focused berry fruit. Some florals. Spice. Palate is dense, concentrated and pure with wonderful elegance. Amazingly fresh and such terrific palate presence and texture. Grippy tannins and very sappy. Excellent acids. Like this a lot. Terrific sweetness. Awesome. — 5 years ago
Great Brunello, every sip worth savoring. Paired very well this my meal. Heavily suggest going with a pasta dish! — 5 years ago
Super tasty, easy drinking orange. Perfect for summer. — 6 years ago
Notes of plum, cherry and spice as it opens up. Hint of burnt orange mid palate with soft enveloping tannins, elegant linger and finish. — 6 years ago
Had at Matt and Kate’s with steak. Dark berries. Easy. Light. Delicious — 7 years ago
Pleasantly surprised, but it definitely needed the right food. It was great with a gnocchi in Parmesan and Gorgonzola sauce. The bright acid cut through the rich cream sauce. Some roasted lamb brought out the herbaceous notes, and once again the lighter body and acid helped to balance the rich dish. It was strange that it paired horribly with a carbonara dish- something about the prosciutto made it musty tasting. I think the key to the enjoyment of this wine is the food pairing, so pair wisely! — 7 years ago

It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a delicious Cabernet Franc.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish /brick rim. Wonderful color.
Nice nose of blueberries, black currants, vanilla, cedar, bell pepper, spices, tobacco, coffee, chocolates, vegetables, herbs and black pepper.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cooked plums, cedar, vanilla, leather, earth, spices, vegetables, bell pepper, licorice, dark chocolates, black coffee, light celery and peppercorn.
Long tangy finish with soft tannins and raspberries.
This is a very tasty Cabernet Franc from San Diego County. What a great surprise. Showing nice complexity and mouthfeel with nice balance.
Tasty and enjoyable by itself as a sipping wine.
Needs 90 minutes to open up properly and remove the acidity.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
Aged in French oak barrels for 27 months. A small production of only 72 cases.
Tasty and delicious.
13.4% alcohol by volume. Yay. Nice to see that from California.
92 points.

This nose needs a lot of air to come hither!
Rustic - and classic morello cherries, tangerine,, a dab of tamarind. Some very light chamomile, amd answering Pinot noirs like acidity. Absolutely delicious!
