Another Brunello producer I have not tried before - quite nice. Quite restrained - apparently the Brunello comes from higher altitudes which shows. It’s not quite Ragnaie in terms of the high altitude character but it’s a nice wine for sure. Perfect with some local Cinta pork. — 3 years ago

The Miscelone from Le Ragnaie is a playful interpretation of a quaffable wine with its integrity intact and a great contrast to our preeminent Brunello producers top range. Sun drenched strawberries, raspberries, orange, fresh herbs, pepper and a garden full of flowers with a savoury almost creamy base note. Fresh acidity on the palate with round edges and a smooth flow across the fruitful palate. Only 12% alcohol so even a lightweight as myself can easily drench the bottle. �Pair it with your Mediterranean salad of choice, grilled vegetables or whatever suits your summer diet. Have your friends nearby and warm summer afternoon that is turning to evening and you’ll be a happy camper. Will be equally pleasurable for both the wine aficionado as the wine hipster.
30% Sangiovese - 20% Trebbiano - 15% Canaiolo - 15% Colorino - 15% Malvasia - 5% Albana. Co-picked and co-fermented red and white grapes, both destemmed and whole clusters, semi carbonic maceration, short elevage and bottled with low sulfur. — 5 years ago
