Good, but too expensive for what it is. Austin Hope is just as good and it’s $39 less. — 4 years ago

Hope Family Vineyard Syrah 2012

2012 vintage bought at the winery. Deep rich purple colour. Big black fruit aromas with kirsch, cardomann and black pepper. This is a smooth wine. Spicy ripe blackberry and cherry, baker’s spice and vanilla. Medium acidity and tannins, I wish it had more lift at the finish. Don’t get me wrong, this is a nice wine. — 5 years ago

Hope Family Vineyard Grenache

Smelled of deep, rich herbal earth. Like a warm summer afternoon hiking in the foothills of Appalachia. The taste was so starkly different to be unrecognizable. Butter, like a steak basted in butter. Fruit was an afterthought, but the entire thing was still big and bold and tricks your senses. Like dating a red headed girl. — 7 years ago

Austin Hope

Templeton Gap District Paso Robles Syrah

Black cherry compote, graphite, toffee & earthy spice notes. Something i can’t put my finger in that’s inbetween mint or eucalyptus clippings that were picked from the garden where you can still smell the soil. fine-grained tannins, heady acidity, and apologetically full-bodied. Someone seriously knows what they’re doing here — best syrah i’ve had all year by miles. — 5 years ago

Orignal Dry Cider

Not bad. Flat, as far as carbonation is concerned. Nice flavor, but quite a bit of added sugar that I could do without. Interested to try their other #cider flavors. — 7 years ago
