Had two bottles on Thursday, August 5th. The party had a different dishes including lamb chops, ribeye steak and one had soft shell crabs. Solid wine with some remaining fruit (but in 3-5 years the fruit may have passed), and good amounts of tobacco, cedar and leather. The first bottle was a little green bell pepper, as you would expect with some under ripe cab franc. The second bottle was better integrated, but had fewer fans at the table. — 4 years ago
Honey, peaches, kind of like a complex fruit cup syrup mixed with pure gold. These wines are always so sensual. — 5 years ago
Bright, structured, green apple and perfume, tart. Enjoyed it - sense it will hold well over time. August 2018. — 7 years ago

Very dry, crisp fruit — 4 years ago
Lovely classic, but slightly lighter than a typical nuits. Thoroughly enjoying this to some early 1970s Parisian acoustic hippy soundtrack piped in.. — 7 years ago
30 August 2017. Rouge Tomate, New York, NY. — 8 years ago
2012 opened August 2017. Lots of fruit on the nose, but it's a bit ambiguous. Ripe plums with unripe cherries. The greenness of the unripe cherries gets me on the front of the palate. But very delectable otherwise -- all the way down. I was hoping for a bit more Tanic structure in a wine of this price point. I reluctantly give it a 9.0. Not the best that Silver Oak has done. Very drinkable, but not a great wine.

CA Haynam
Huge fruity nose, totally opaque dark purple, tastes of red fruit - particularly raspberry with a hint of strawberry. Bold but not overwhelming tannins on the finish. Delicious. — 3 years ago
