The 1999 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tâche is a transcendent bottle, wherein no one element dominates, it's in absolute harmony, not unlike a great piece of music or art. It has pronounced power, and is at the same time weightless and ethereal. Layers of crushed raspberries, currants, blackberries and plum give substance to more fleeting layers of exotic spice, minerals, rose petals, black tea, and fresh alfalfa hay, all of which crescendos in a seemingly endless finish. A profound wine. — 9 years ago
Fresh cut Meyer lemon, and green apple with undertones of white pepper and damp river rock. Slight residual sweetness, fresh acidity. — 10 years ago
From Margaret River Chardonnay specialist, Pierro. Mid Lemon in colour. Mealy nutty aromas of almond and cashew. Restrained stone fruit with some ripe grapefruit on a medium bodied palate. Great balance between the new leaner style of Aussie Chard like Oakridge 864 and the traditional full bodied style like Leeuwin Art Series - both great Chards themselves. Excellent. — 9 years ago
Bold, full body shiraz with plum, blackberry and some spice but very well rounded. Some tannin to go well with BBQ, beef and lamb. I would order this again! — 9 years ago
3L 1982 Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande. Drank at Art/Film as the first of two reds, with 1982 Cheval Blanc. This wine was ready to drink right from the first pour. Absolutely perfect, it was like silk. Pure velvet. Lorraine and I absolutely loved this wine. Much smoother and less vegetal than the Cheval Blanc, which perhaps was also more nuanced. Great wine amazing treat. — 10 years ago
Blackberry and bramble. Earthy, spicy and minty. Light, delicate but with lots of density. — 10 years ago
Bowlful of biodynamic blackberry fruit with mouthwatering acidity and fine, young tannins. — 11 years ago
Insane amounts of fruit. Plum and fig. Balanced and smooth. Amazing. Aged in first growth Bordeaux. — 11 years ago
Inviting nose of cream and citrus and dried orange peel...,refreshing yet hefty tripel comes through. Great! — 9 years ago
Great Redwine blend from Argentina. When the wine was first opened, it tasted flaw with hint of dry cork. This vanished after leaving the wine alone for another day with the vacu cork seal.
Wine showed dark berry fruits and was well balanced! — 10 years ago
I was finally really impressed. It's so dense with a deep nose & long cherry finish. Its fruitiness is nicely balanced with wonderful long breath. Full body & complex wine, art of winemaking process like its label designed by Portuguese fashion designer. It cries in the glass, but they are tears of happiness :), tastes pretty mature, round, even and reach in taste - so drink now, it is ready & you will not regret it. — 10 years ago
Easy drinking, agree with other reviews - it doesn't quite have the strength of taste associated with most Riojas - but good drinking none the less. — 10 years ago

Color is so deep such that you almost can't tell it is dark red. yellow, copper, dark green and brown in the rim make this wine unique. Nose of so much endless chocolate, fragrant cedar wood, fermented plums, and sweet French vanilla. Taste of the notes similar to nose with powerful alcohol note hidden within, and ripe grapes notes. Aftertaste of lingering sweetness, a bit zest, spice and sourness makes this wine a very special experience. — 9 years ago
