This wine shows that Texas is now producing fine and complex wine. The grape is Tannat used a lot in wines from Uruguay and Chile. Full bodied and beautiful crisp red velvet color. Pleasant to the nose and palate. Best when it breathes. Texas wine makers are increasingly conscious about terroir and planting grapes that fit it. Nice and well structured that complements a rib eye grilled quite nicely. — 2 years ago

From Red & White Wines Chicago. Mostly Chenin with a splash or two of Chardonnay and Melon. Delicious! — a year ago
Nice Bordeaux to finish some work and watch the Caps game. Another good recommendation from Arrow Wine — 2 years ago

As others have mentioned, very close to a good Beaujolais. A bit more irony and meaty than fruit forward but tart cranberry certainly there. Herbs too. — 5 months ago

Pop and pour. Spectacular. On the nose: Reduction, loads of spice, wild strawberry, smoke. On the palate:.soft, elegant with lovely elegant acidity. more smoke, spice. Soft tannin, spice, and tang on the close. Lovely! — 2 days ago
