Beaujolais Nouveau is always fun. Very fruity with cherry notes. One of the better Noveau’s. Easy drinking during the holidays — 3 years ago

If you like aged champagne, this is the beer to try. Tart, funky barnyard notes mixed with fruit. Sour, but balanced. Belgian treat for sure. — 5 years ago
Checking in on this bottle tonight, and also using some to poach Halibut in the oven, yum!
A light flinty, mineral nose, light creamy oak notes on the palate, but oddly a red fruit character so slightly tonight, like strawberry but not strawberry all at the same time, intriguing. — 8 years ago
First of a few posts to come this evening. Out on a wine and steak adventure with 3 other old guys. This one a very good start, but a little past it's prime. Some of the fruit got lost. Should have drunk a couple of years ago. — 8 years ago

This was bought for my birthday about a month ago and was opened last night. Super easy drinking Émilion, enjoyed so much that some went into last night's ragù and the bottle finished off! — 8 years ago

2001 vintage. Not decanted. Nice fill and cork. Youthful nose of eucalyptus/spearmint and orange peel. Medium-medium heavy body. Just so fresh. Tasted more like a 3-4 year old Burg instead of a 24 yo one. Excellent length of finish filled with sandalwood/tree bark, clove, cinnamon and raspberry. This specimen needed another 15-20 years to “grow up.” 05.28.25. — 5 months ago
