Apricot and limestone 👌🏻 — 7 years ago
Fresh, light gold. Bright and vibrant in the glass. Even more vibrant in the nose. Exotic, notes of lemon peel, wet river stone, petrol, slate, apricot and spice. Great rich fruit matches some impactful acidity. Long finish. This is great juice, still young, and has some more to give down the road. — 7 years ago
Totally Yum! Impressive dried apricot and mango, baked peach, on a vanilla infused creme brûlée. Really sweet on the palate and moderate acidity is refreshing. — 8 years ago
Apricot and smooth syrup — 12 years ago
Yesterday’s Wednesday Wine Committee lunch. Normal format of 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. All tasted blind.
Birth year Sauternes. Classic profile. Honey roasted cashews and orange marmalade aromatics. Rich and sweet notes of apricot and peach on the palate. Powerful yet not overbearing. I called this mid ‘90s Rieussec. — 5 years ago
Honey, peach blossom and apricot, with clear skin contact (in a good way!) High acidity and low RS makes it a good pairing for food. Nice sub for rose if you’re tired of rose and want something fresh and structured. — 7 years ago
Perennial favorite. Over ripe tangerine, apricot, stone fruit. Realized that I have been drinking Rose's too cold. Let this one sit open, and it paid off. Very well made. — 8 years ago
Light straw gold. Succulent nose with bright fruit... apricot, lemon, clay, marzipan and spearmint. Rich and round in the mouth. Nice structure that weighs on the fruit side more than the acidity. Really nice juice. One of the better 06's that I recall tasting or drinking. Can certainly improve but nice now. — 8 years ago
Honeyed apricot, peach pit, lime zest, petrol, pine... Holy cow. Linear but round all at once. Epic wine! — 9 years ago
Great stuff berries and tar. In a very good place. — 10 years ago
Incredible. Apricot, honey and fig hanging on the nose and pushing through the palate. Beautiful balance with the sweetness and acid. Fresh and vibrant - can last another 50. — 12 years ago
Great acidity and crisp. Peach, honey, apple, apricot, Leg is ample an slow. Very fresh — 6 years ago
Shy nose is coming on with air: honeysuckle flowers, dried apricot, very high-toned minerality. So dry in the mouth. Intensely mineral. Long and pure. Not a friendly wine though. More like demanding. Not sure that makes sense. Can't wait to see what it's like tomorrow.
Night 2: nose is all fruit: golden plums and lightly grilled peach with a faint citrus peel note. Fruit and minerals on the palate, with an unusual foursquare feel. Minerals minerals on the finish. All in a light-bodied, dry frame. Very distinctive. — 9 years ago

Nice regal gold hue. Amazing pit fruit and wet stone nose. Plus notes of apricot, white clay soil, salty ocean breeze and some Raveneau honey on the finish. Rich and powerful in the mouth. Coats the palate with lots of fruit and fine grained acidity. I’ve had this a few times and this was at its best. Great Raveneau at age 30 is an amazing treat. — 5 years ago
